As the CaterSource and Event Solutions conference forges through its 4-day meeting, award nominations for various categories were announced Monday, March 24, 2014. South African caterer and online TV host Vicky Crease snagged several nominations saying, “To be acknowledged by your peers and competitors who get and understand what you do is the highest most respected honor” in response to being nominated. Vicky Crease Catering gained nominations in the following awards and categories:

*CaterSource’s Achievement in Catering Excellence (ACE) award --International Region, Over $2 million category.
This Award recognizes companies in the catering industry that have shown noteworthy achievement throughout the year in culinary, business, community and professional development.

*Event Solutions Spotlight Awards—Supplier of the Year
These awards are dedicated to recognizing the best & brightest event professionals in the industry.

  • 5 Nominations for CATIE (Catered Arts Through Innovated Excellece) Awards which recognize achievement of exemplary food production at an event. Nominated in these categories:

-Best Barbeque or Picnic Menu,
-Best Buffet Presentation & Menu
-Best Plated Menu
-Signature caterer for best multiple day event
-Signature Caterer for Best event

Vicky Crease Catering has won many awards over the years that they have been in business including five of the International Caterers Association’s CATIE awards for Best Themed Menu, Best Use of Food as Décor, Best New Food Concept, Best Barbecue or Picnic. Additionally, the company has gained awards and accolades earning CaterSource’s ACE award for Best Independent Caterer.
