Victor Rotolo Named to the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys Top 10 Attorneys List for New Jersey

(PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- Victor Rotolo of The Rotolo Law Firm, a Lebanon, N.J.-based law practice, was selected to the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys Top 10 Attorneys list for New Jersey for 2014. The Academy chooses ten attorneys in each state from the more than one million practicing lawyers in the country to receive this award, based on their involvement in the area of family law. The Academy’s rigorous selection process begins with peer nominations and continues through a careful review by the Academy’s selection committee, to final selection by its Board of Governors.
Mr. Rotolo is committed to handling his clients’ family law matters with the tenacity and compassion such issues warrant. “Dealing with a family law matter can be one of the most stressful and emotionally challenging events of a person’s life,” Mr. Rotolo explained. “Because family law cases deal with the legal relationship between family members and how they relate to such issues as divorce, child custody and property distribution, these matters need to be addressed with a balance of determination and concern.”
Mr. Rotolo began his career in law as a police officer in Elizabeth, N.J., after graduating from the Union County Police Academy, Class of 1978, as Valedictorian. He subsequently earned his law degree from Seton Hall School of Law in 1982 and, soon thereafter, founded The Rotolo Law Firm, where he specializes in family law, civil litigation and criminal defense.

Mr. Rotolo has received numerous awards and citations throughout his career, including Martindale-Hubbell’s “AV” Preeminent rating, and a “Superb” rating from Avvo, which is based on an evaluation score of 10 out of 10. He has been included on the New Jersey Super Lawyers list for nine consecutive years and on the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers list and the American Society of Legal Advocates’ Top 100 Litigation Lawyers list for the past two years.
Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction awarded to only 2% of all trial lawyers in the State, Mr. Rotolo has served on that Court’s District XIII Ethics Committee as both Chair and Vice Chair. He is a member of both the New Jersey Bar Association and the Hunterdon County Bar Association, as well as the Association of Trial Lawyers and the New Jersey Defense Association. Additionally, Mr. Rotolo is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is comprised of attorneys who have verdicts or settlements of $1 million or greater to their credit.
