Victory Energy Names Mark Daniel Director Utility Business Development
Collinsville, OK (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- Victory Energy announces the hiring of Mark Daniel as the new Director Utility Business Development. He will be tasked with leading Victory Energy’s sales and business activities in the power and utility markets as the company increases the comprehensive range of product offerings aimed at achieving far broader market coverage with domestic and international utilities.
The arrival of Mr. Daniel aligns with the company’s continued rapid expansion toward combined cycle heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) applications. His vast utility industry experience and knowledge helps Victory Energy broaden its overall utility market reach.
“Market conditions are changing as utility companies look more to the combined cycle plants due to the relatively inexpensive natural gas prices,” said Jeff Coale, Victory Energy’s Vice President of Business Development. “A major challenge facing utility companies is the ageing electrical grid. The best way to mitigate those business limitations is to decentralize the production of electricity, which means a higher number of power plants in more strategic locations. This situation exists both domestically and internationally and the addition of Mark Daniel helps Victory Energy better address these dynamic market conditions,” Coale went on to say.
Victory Energy is poised to be a product and service solution to answer these unique market conditions. Coale explained why, “Another dynamic driving the de-centralization of power is the lack of natural gas pipeline infrastructure. Large quantity of easily deployed combined cycle power plants can help support the productive use of this clean source of energy, while the distribution system grows.”
Mr. Daniel comes to Victory Energy with a vast technical sales and product management background with significant power industry experience across both business and new product development. Mr. Daniel is a Registered Professional Engineer who earned his BSME from Texas Tech and an MBA from SMU.
