OXFORD, Fla., Aug. 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Village Periodontics & Dental Implant Center in Oxford, Florida, is pleased to announce the addition of Nina Cramer, DMD, MS to their team of periodontal specialists.
Dr. Cramer's education includes dual bachelor's degrees -- one in Microbiology & Cell Sciences and one in Psychology; a DMD completed at University of Florida Dental School; and a Certificate of Periodontology & Oral Implantology earned at Temple University and along with a master's degree in Oral Biology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology.
"We always say our team has a WOW factor because we are welcoming, caring, empathetic, organized, and educated," says Dr. Rania Livada. "Dr. Cramer is exactly the right fit for our team - she brings that same commitment and enthusiasm for periodontics that we all share, and we're excited to have her on board."
Dr. Dennis Davis agrees. "We have a strong focus on continuing education, staying briefed on the latest updates in our industry and seeking additional training in new, emerging technologies. Dr. Cramer is precisely the type of periodontist that exemplifies our passion for excellence in patient care through a steadfast commitment to continual learning and improvement."
The elegance and intricacy of periodontics are what originally drew Dr. Cramer to the field. "Periodontics offers such a broad range of procedures and expertise- periodontal surgery, implant dentistry, oral pathology, and maintenance," she says. "It's a unique specialty in the fact that it allows us to maintain long term relationships with our patients, which is one of the aspects that I love about dentistry."
Dr. Cramer notes that the connection between periodontal care and overall health also provides a complexity she can appreciate. "There is an intimate relationship between oral health and systemic health. As a periodontist, I cannot only help resolve dental issues and create amazing smiles, I can directly and positively impact my patients' health on a whole body level."
A Florida native, Dr. Cramer resides in Groveland and volunteers annually at the Florida Dental Association's Mission of Mercy. Patients interested in scheduling an appointment with Dr. Cramer should call the office at (352) 259-6799 or request an appointment online.
