Chestertown, Md (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- “Simple Pleasures” are things that make us happy and make us remember how blessed we are. “Reflections of Life” are things we have learned from experiences in life. Learn from Violet Rose’s insight and experience in Simple Pleasures/Reflections of Life – a poetry collection measured out with a warm, reassuring touch that makes readers appreciate what they have and how they are elements of a life well-lived.
Violet Rose’s poetic meditations and insight into every day things has achieved a level of wisdom that will help inspire readers to do the same for themselves. It is a method of teaching, too–learning to look beyond routine and “boring” chores takes a lot of thinking, and the author knows how they are all related to wellness and psychic well-being. For her readers, she bridges the gestalt through these meditations–providing a treasury of aphorisms that make Simple Pleasures/Reflections of Life not only a worthy addition to one’s collection of inspiring books, but to one’s life itself. Read and listen carefully to this well-wrought poem entitled “The Gentle Spirit” –
“When you see and hear a person with a gentle spirit, you envision someone who possesses a quietness and a gentleness just by the way they talk. They are humble and do not take anything for granted. He is someone who shares his grace and mercy with others by encouraging those who are going through life’s challenges, letting them know there is hope.”
The prosody in this collection is enthralling in its wisest moments; needless to say, Violet Rose inflects and imbues Christian tonalities and colors into her lines; it is all of a piece with Rose’s intentions–that her readers be able to recognize the best parts of life with the guidance of the Spirit moving through her poetry. To give it as a gift to friends and loved ones will be the best reminder that they are loved.
