Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) January 31, 2014
Footwear etc. is delighted to announce that one of its best selling brands, Orthaheel, has changed its name to Vionic with Orthaheel Technology. This name change occurred to highlight the fashion and style of these shoes, while maintaining the outstanding orthotic properties of the footwear.
In addition to a new name, there is also a new collection of shoes and sandals for women and men. Footwear etc. has received the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection from Vionic with Orthaheel Technology. The line has dozens of new styles including an updated version of their staple flip-flop the Tide II.
Vionic by Orthaheel is known for its outstanding Tri-Planar Motion Control footbed. This footbed helps keep your feet aligned properly so that your feet and legs work as nature intended. Proper alignment helps the user combat heel and knee pain, and leg fatigue. Vionic by Orthaheel footwear is designed by Podiatrist Philip Vasyli and most styles are recommended by Wellness expert Dr. Andrew Weil. In fact, Dr. Weil’s footwear, formerly Weil by Orthaheel, is now part of the Vionic by Orthaheel brand.
The most popular of the Vionic by Orthaheel models, the Tide, has been upgraded to the Tide II. The new model has all of the same phenomenal orthopedic properties of the original, but the upper contains a strip of leather rather than polyurethane and the sole has a slightly different tread pattern. It is available in nine beautiful colors, and is expected to continue to be a best seller for Footwear etc.
VP of Sales Andrew Monarch adds, ”Orthaheel has been one of our best selling brands, and we welcome the new name and new styles. We expect Vionic with Orthaheel Technology to continue to be one of our top-selling brands since our customers have been very pleased with their results.”
All of the models from Vionic with Orthaheel Technology are available at Footwear etc.’s retail stores as well as online at footwearetc.com.
