Monitoring does not exist in a vacuum, and building strong relationships with other products and companies at a technical and business level is a priority for us

VividCortex, the monitoring solution for the modern data system, expands its offering through new integrations, support and partnerships. As data grows exponentially, the performance of diverse, distributed systems becomes more difficult to monitor and optimize. VividCortex has developed a unique suite of tools to see what is happening on production servers with unmatched detail, and the latest advancements further expand the robust solution.

“Monitoring does not exist in a vacuum, and building strong relationships with other products and companies at a technical and business level is a priority for us,” said Baron Schwartz, VividCortex’s CEO. “We always planned for this, but we didn’t plan for the demand,” he added. “The response from customers, the opensource community, and other companies has surprised us, and we’re investing even more resources than we’d planned.”

VividCortex now integrates with PagerDuty, HipChat, VictorOps and Slack, to provide alert functionality for your team

VividCortex’s latest product integrations allow teams to communicate server status with ease, keeping devs and ops on the same page and sounding notifications on potential problems through Slack, PagerDuty, HipChat and VictorOps. A notification can be triggered by potentially harmful server activities, including high swap activity, disc faults, replication stopping, or server restarts. Once triggered, an alert follows the appropriate channels and notifies the correct users so they can solve the problem swiftly, efficiently, and with precision.

VividCortex Now Offers Support for Heroku

VividCortex released monitoring for Heroku Postgres and add-ons in Heroku that support off-site supervision. In November 2014, VividCortex announced support for servers hosted on RDS, and, following that success, has expanded its compatibility to another hosting service. Heroku offers IT teams a streamlined platform to build, run, and scale their systems, and the latest enhancement in VividCortex allows IT teams to build, run and scale their monitoring at a matched pace.

VividCortex Partner Program Announced

VividCortex is far surpassing the expected growth rate and invites others to grow with them through a Partner Program. VividCortex is eager to engage with agencies who specialize in improving customers’ monitoring capabilities, startups who have a product to integrate, and companies who aim to improve overall IT workflow.
