Leading automotive dealership broker, Performance Brokerage Services, is pleased to announce the completion of a successful season of volunteer coaching at a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) school located in Orange Country, California. Members of the Performance Brokerage Services team volunteered their time to a local high school varsity basketball team that resulted in a 10 – 0 season and a playoffs win—the high school’s first playoffs win in over five years.

Both Jesse Stopnitzky and Jamie Stopnitzky, brothers and teammates on their own high school basketball team, dedicated their time and experience, understanding the value of team sports at a young age. Coaching commitments included three hour team practices as well as games, 5 days a week, resulting in over 20 volunteer hours per week for each volunteer, and stretching for months through the duration of the fall and winter seasons.

To participate on the team, the Coaches required the athletes to meet minimum GPA requirements, encouraging learning and development both on and off the court.

Volunteers stressed the importance of the company’s dedication to staying involved in the community where they do business. “It’s important to me and to the company that we give back to the community from which we received so much over the years,” stated Jesse Stopnitzky, a partner at Performance Brokerage Services. “Participation in team sports is an important part of growing up. It’s an exciting and engaging way for kids to explore their strengths and learn values that will impact them throughout their lives, far beyond the sport itself. We feel privileged knowing that we could have a positive impact on our players and their preparation for adulthood.”

The company’s philanthropic involvement does not end there. Moshe Stopnitzky, founder and President of Performance Brokerage Services, also contributes passive donations to the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, California, and to the national Multiple Sclerosis (MS) society.

The Coaches are kicking off the 2014-2015 season this week, with even higher hopes as the entire team is returning for another season.
