American Cooler Technologies Adds Experienced Engineer to Its Team

Having worked at American Cooler Technologies from high school through college, Adam Carpp is now a full-time engineer at the company, where he tackles everything from manufacturing to customer service.

American Cooler Technologies recently hired engineer Adam Carpp to its experienced engineering and manufacturing team. Having worked part- and full-time for American Cooler Technologies since his senior year in high school through his graduation from Western Michigan University in 2012, Carpp went on to enhance his knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) by attending Van Buren Technology Center in Lawrence.

"I'm excited to use my education, my prior experience, and my knowledge about CAD to the benefit of this wonderful company," Carpp said. "I'm thoroughly prepared for this position and look forward to helping advance American Cooler Technologies' interests in the future."

Carpp has fulfilled various roles in American Cooler Technologies' manufacturing processes since he began working for the company. Primarily, he assisted the head CAD engineer with the design and engineering of cooler/freezers and golf simulators while working on the manufacturing floor as well.

Carpp also has experience in diverse aspects of the company's processes, including building panels for golf simulators, cooler/freezers, and clean room/metrology operations; shearing and forming metal; filling panels with American Cooler Technologies' polyurethane insulation; and training employees in these and various other roles. He also has experience installing coolers and freezers throughout the Lawrence area.

Carpp's duties at American Cooler Technologies will include a range of tasks. Carpp will be responsible for taking customer orders, then determining and overseeing the most effective manner of construction through American Cooler Technologies' panel manufacturing processes. He also will communicate with various departments on what American Cooler Technologies can and cannot build, create installation instructions and drawings for customers, answer incoming questions, and work toward solutions to customer problems.

Carpp's clients will include convenience store owners, clean room/metrology laboratory companies, restaurant owners, golf simulator companies, and general contractors.
