Company will introduce two brand new collections at the international tradeshow

The new Ellington stone collection includes Art Deco-inspired patterns like Jacques, a playful interplay of inlaid hexagons, and named after the period’s French influence.

Ellington draws on the geometric influences of Art Deco and organic curves of Art Nouveau with designs that are sparse and elegant, allowing the luxury of the materials to take center stage.

Walker Zanger will introduce two collections at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City, May 21-24 at booth 863. The company will debut the new Art Deco-inspired Ellington collection that is made of stone with metal inlays, as well as its Grain porcelain collection that mimics finished wood for a contemporary European aesthetic.

“Ellington draws on the geometric influences of Art Deco and organic curves of Art Nouveau with designs that are sparse and elegant, allowing the luxury of the materials to take center stage,” said Jared Becker, Walker Zanger Vice President of Design and Marketing. “Also, the Grain collection celebrates advanced porcelain technology, which has become a leading tile trend as it expands our perception of what is aesthetically and functionally possible in the design industry.”

As the world’s most comprehensive stone and tile company, Walker Zanger sets the standard for products that provide a lifetime of artistry and value. Here is more information on the company’s notable debuts on display at ICFF 2017:

Ellington collection: Inspired by Art Deco architecture and design in the Jazz Age, this new collection encapsulates a period of economic prosperity that launched lavish hotels, restaurants and music clubs where the likes of Duke Ellington entertained. This sophisticated luxury is interpreted for a contemporary audience in the Ellington tiles, offering a curated collection of designs created with marbles and limestones inlaid with brass, copper and stainless steel.

Grain collection: Bringing together clean lines, functional efficiency and effortless beauty, the new Grain collection is a versatile wood-finish porcelain tile that exhibits contemporary European style. Made in Spain, Grain is offered in four colors (Anthracite, Beige, Brown and Ochre), utilizing a subtle variation in four wood tones per color. It features a natural wood grain on chevron patterns (Brown and Ochre only) and wide planks, with an anti-slip version (Brown only) that is perfect for poolside.
