Embassy Circle Guest House and Woodley Park Guest House Inducted into Trip Advisor Hall of Fame
Washington DC (PRWEB) June 11, 2015 -- Embassy Circle Guest House and Woodley Park Guest House today announced that both Washington DC Bed and Breakfast inns have been recognized as TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence "Hall of Fame" winners. The Certificate of Excellence award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. The ‘Hall of Fame’ was created to honor businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years.
Embassy Circle Guest House and Woodley Park Guest - both of which are DC INNS properties - are owned and managed by sisters Laura Saba and Courtney Lodico, along with their husbands Raymond Saba and Joe Lodico. The two Guest Houses have been providing warm, personal hospitality for 8 years (Embassy) and 15 years (Woodley). Both properties have consistently held top positions in Trip Advisor's Washington DC Bed and Breakfast listings, together receiving more than 1,000 reviews.
Embassy Circle Guest House, located in Dupont Circle and housed in a luxurious 1902 mansion that was recently converted from embassy use, offers 11 spacious and elegantly decorated rooms, as well as beautiful public spaces. Owners and hosts, Laura and Raymond Saba, take a personal interest in their guests, sharing breakfast, conversation, and an evening glass of wine (or two) with travelers from around the globe. The incredibly convenient downtown location, surrounded by embassies and close to Metro, restaurants, shops and DC attractions, makes Embassy Circle Guest House the perfect place to enjoy all that Washington DC has to offer.
"We are so excited to win this new Trip Advisor award. We have spent 15 years hosting guests from around the world- about 45,000 people between the two B&B's - and we have had an absolutely wonderful time doing it! Our guests have clearly enjoyed the experience as well, posting great reviews and recommending us to friends, family and colleagues. What an incredible way to make a living - entertaining fascinating people from the US and abroad. People come back over and over again, and many of our guests have become lifelong friends” said Laura Saba.
The Woodley Park Guest House has been the go-to-favorite bed and breakfast in Washington DC for the value minded traveler for the past 15 years. Staying at the Woodley Park Guest House is an experience in personal, world-class hospitality. Owners and hosts, Courtney and Joe Lodico, enjoy meeting and introducing their many first-time and repeat guests, as they join the daily breakfast conversation or share a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the inviting front porch. The Guest House offers 15 urban-sized rooms that are all individually furnished for comfort and convenience. Located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood, the Woodley Park Guest House is just a 90 second walk to Metro. Because of its close proximity to two of DC’s busiest conference hotels the Guest House hosts a diverse and interesting group of business travelers and tourist from around the world.
“We are really thrilled to win TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame Award. We love being innkeepers and we have a very distinct style of hospitality that is pretty much in contrast with every other accommodation in DC. We favor conversation and generosity over TV’s and transactions. The Trip Adviser Hall of Fame Awards confirms that our brand of genuine, personal hospitality is understood and appreciated by our guests. That is very gratifying” said Courtney Lodico.

"Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years is a remarkable feat. TripAdvisor is pleased to induct five-time award winners into the ‘Hall of Fame’,” said Marc Charron President, TripAdvisor for Business. “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on consistently delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
