Featuring some of the world’s finest rock musicians, this year’s “Bash” will benefit DC’s Children’s National Health System, known to many as Children’s Hospital. With its community based pediatric network, eight regional outpatient centers, an ambulatory surgical center, two emergency rooms, and the region’s premier acute care pediatric hospital, Children’s is recognized for its expertise and innovation in pediatric care and as an advocate for all children. http://www.childrensnational.org

The Rock and Roll for Children Foundation makes a difference in the lives of area children in need. Through the performances of music icons and the generosity of supporters RRFC has raised over $500,000 to assist organizations working on behalf of these children and their families. A partial list of prior event beneficiaries includes The Children’s Inn at NIH, Super Sibs, Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, Casey Cares Foundation, and Montgomery County Foster Care Society.

Being held at one of the region’s premier music venues, Gypsy Sally’s in Georgetown, the evening includes non-stop live musical performances and a silent auction featuring guitars autographed by The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler, Coldplay's Chris Martin and others, fabulous trips to dream destinations around the globe, special sporting events packages, and many other spectacular items.

From the first backyard fundraiser shut down by the police for the music being too loud, to the event with a group of children singing with a member of the Rolling Stones, these parties are nonstop fun and a great way to give back to those less fortunate.

The musical guests for this year’s Bash include G.E. Smith (former Saturday Night Live bandleader and currently touring with Roger Waters), Bonnie Bramlett (Delany and Bonnie, Eric Clapton), Christine Ohlman (Saturday Night Live Band), Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel) and many other well- known performers. (A complete list of the musical artists is included below.)

Tickets are $250 and include gourmet food, premium open bar, and an unforgettable evening of live music and dancing.
