UK-based four-piece party band On The Ceiling have been in business and performing live renditions of everyone’s favourite hits for eight years now. During that time they have performed at a range of prestigious venues and locations all over the UK including the N.E.C. in Birmingham, and the illustrious Royal Albert Hall in London. While they have built up a name for themselves on the live private event gigging circuit, this musical collective from Peterborough are gearing up for the next phase in their career.

This new chapter will see this party band for hire embracing social media and it’s something the group were pleased to announce at a recent rehearsal for a private function they had been booked to perform two 60 minute musical sets at. “We’ve been booked solidly pretty much since we first started performing together and being known as On The Ceiling, so we never took an active interested in building up an online following or notable social media presence, even when some of our peers were starting to do so,” the lead vocalist of the band explained. “However, now that we are more in demand than ever, we figured being more active online might help our cause and get us even more exposure outside of our traditional audiences and open up new and exciting opportunities. We are also offering a free DJ service with every booking,” he continued.

In accordance with this new promotional strategy, this group of UK wedding singers have been diligently accumulating footage, photos, and audio recordings from their recent performances to share with their online audience, with the intention of growing their online following and spreading the word of On The Ceiling. “We’ve been having lots of fun getting to grips with the latest social media networks, and taking a real interest in websites like YouTube and Twitter,” one the management team for the band explained. “In the past the band have always been booked based on referrals and word of mouth recommendations, but now we are making more of an effort to promote the sounds of the band online in order to reach a wider audience,” he further added.

While this live four-piece band that prides itself on their versatility is still actively seeking bookings for UK weddings, parties, and other functions, they will be hoping to be successful in growing their social media profile and making more use of their website, which can be found at http://www.otcweddingband.co.uk/. This website has in fact been getting more attention in recent times, along with their social media outlets, and now includes an updated FAQ page, band member profiles, and a newly added song player and video section showcasing the talents of this four-piece wedding band.

With a busy schedule and growing interest from the public after years of practice and live performances behind them (http://www.otcweddingband.co.uk/wedding-bands-kent.html), On The Ceiling are clearly looking forward to their next challenge that involves growing a social media following and becoming an even more popular choice for those organising weddings, parties, and other events and are in need of quality live musical entertainment (http://www.otcweddingband.co.uk/get-a-quote.html).
