WeGoLook Closes $1.75 Million to Crowdsource Tasks for Enterprise Clients
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- Leading inspection services in the sharing economy, the nationwide sharing economy platform (similar to TaskRabbit, Uber, Airbnb and Lyft), WeGoLook closed $1.75 million in a Series A Investment Series.
Founded in 2010, the company uses a crowdsourcing model which has become increasingly popular among consumers and corporate clients over the past few years. WeGoLook provides clients with dynamic field services and custom tasking nationwide through a labor force of over 15,000 Agents (Lookers) who visit the on-site location of properties, autos, heavy equipment, fleet assets, and more to take photos, videos and collect customizable data. WeGoLook PRO is changing the way the world works by providing a nationwide resource for enterprise clients to complete low complex tasks which implements solutions for greater efficiencies. Many corporate clients dispatch Lookers to complete onsite tasking and reporting on their behalf.
WeGoLook plans to use the investment for advancements in software development. Earlier this year, the first version of the WeGoLook App was launched transitioning the web-based platform to mobile technology. This investment will provide the opportunity for rapid technology progression which will enable WeGoLook to more efficiently service the demands of the growing market for inspection services and customized tasking solutions.
The Series A Investment round was led by i2E with investments from the Oklahoma Seed Capital Fund, OKAngel Sidecar Fund, The Seed Step Angels, and WeGoLook Founders, Mat and Robin Smith and Karl Baldischwiler.
