Madeleine Design Group, a home design firm based in Vancouver, is launching the second series of their web docuseries, “Welcome Home with Madeleine.” Split into eight parts, the new run of episodes will cover the complete transformation of a traditional suburban home into a modern masterpiece. Episode One, which introduces the new project and clients, debuts Thursday, September 15th at 12:00PM PCT on the Madeleine Design Group website and YouTube Channel.
Debuting in early summer of 2021, the first “Welcome Home with Madeleine” series covers principal designer Madeleine Sloback’s personal home renovation in White Rock, BC. The eight episodes bring viewers through all aspects of a full interior renovation, including planning, demolition, structural changes, permits, plumbing, electrical, millwork, finishes, and everything else that goes into transforming an older house into a beautiful, updated, modern home. The series wrapped with an extensive tour of the finished home, highlighting some of the choices and selections made along the way in previous episodes.

Having designed and built their home 17 years ago, the clients wished to stay in place, rather than sell, but needed a major change. Madeleine and her team went right to work on an interior and exterior design that completely transformed the home from its country-style traditional home to a dazzling modern marvel that features a new entrance and foyer, lots of open spaces and glass, and a completely unique black-on-black kitchen.
