West Coast Trial Lawyers Adds Two Distinguished Associate Attorneys
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 08, 2014 -- West Coast Trial Lawyers, the law firm founded by its partners Neama Rahmani and Allen Patatanyan, announced the acquisition of two top-notch associate attorneys. The law firm, which focuses on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation, is staffing up in anticipation of upcoming high-stakes jury trials.
Patatanyan is the law firm’s Managing Partner, and Rahmani is its President. Prior to establishing West Coast Trial Lawyers, Rahmani and Patatanyan worked together at O’Melveny & Myers, the largest law firm in Los Angeles. Rahmani, who graduated Harvard Law School when he was only 22 years old, left O’Melveny to become a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office. He prosecuted drug and human trafficking cases for several years, including a drug kingpin who was featured on “America’s Most Wanted.” Rahmani was then appointed as the Director of Enforcement of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission, where he investigated public corruption cases and regulated high ranking City officials, including the Los Angeles Mayor and City Council.
Patatanyan, who graduated in the top 1% of his law school class, also left O’Melveny to become partner of a respected law firm, specializing in high stakes civil litigation and personal injury, before forming West Coast Trial Lawyers with Rahmani. Together, the partners are a force to be reckoned with, and they seek to build a talented team. Patatanyan said the firm’s heavy workload necessitated this move to capture first-rate legal talent: “We wanted to acquire the best lawyers to provide the absolute best legal service to our clients.”
Arash Ardalan joins the firm as an Associate Attorney. Ardalan graduated from UCLA, studied law at the world-renowned Oxford University in England, and received his law degree and numerous accolades from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Ardalan brings unique insight to West Coast Trial Lawyers. Not only did he spend years working for insurance companies, he also worked for the Honorable Judge Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, one of the great legal minds of our time. Thereafter, Ardalan worked at two reputable law firms, which specialized in civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense.
Siavash Rokni also joins the firm as an Associate Attorney. Rokni graduated from UCLA, studied law at Oxford University, and received his law degree from Chapman University School of Law, where he ranked among the top students in his class and was awarded a merit scholarship due to his excellent academic record. While in law school, Rokni worked at the United States Department of Justice and the United States federal court. Upon graduation, Rokni worked for several judges at the Roybal Federal Building in Downtown, Los Angeles before joining West Coast Trial Lawyers.
Rahmani explained the firm’s philosophy: “To be the best firm for our clients during the most challenging times of their lives, we must attract and hire the best legal talent. We do this by providing a great environment for our associates to try cases, and to pursue justice on behalf of innocent victims who have been harmed by the conduct of others.”
