Batten Insurance Services Continues Charity Campaign to Benefit Local Woman Fighting Breast Cancer
West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 03, 2016 -- Batten Insurance Services’ new community enrichment program, serving families of the greater West Palm Beach, FL area, continues to fundraise for a local wife and mother battling breast cancer. Stacey Bennis, one of the agency’s own staff members, is in need of financial assistance to continue her fight. Donations to help Stacey beat cancer are now being accepted here.
Stacey was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in September of 2015. Unfortunately, surgery revealed the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. With ongoing chemotherapy, radiation and five full years of oral medication ahead, Stacey has a very long journey on her road to recovery. Although her days are often painful, Stacey continues her work at Batten Insurance, believing in the agency’s mission to help and protect others. Her courage is a constant inspiration to those around her, as she fills her days with friends, family and service to others. But escalating medical expenses are proving to be a whole other challenge.
“We felt compelled to continue our campaign for Stacey, who is very dear to our hearts,” said Ann-Marie Batten, owner of Batten Insurance Services. “After all, neighbors helping neighbors is what life is all about, and Stacey should be able to concentrate on her recovery without worrying about bills looming over her head. We truly hope everyone will pitch in to help this lovely young woman, who has been through so very much.”
