Omnia Education Expects Record Turnout for the 10th Annual Women's Health Annual Visit and Stages in Women's Health Capstone Medical Education Conference in New York City
Fort Washington, PA (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- Omnia Education, a leading U.S. provider of women’s health education, will deliver its annual capstone conference in New York City on December 6-7, 2013, marking the 10th year of Woman’s Health Annual Visit (WHAV). WHAV and Stages in Women’s Health comprise the capstone conference, and a record-breaking 1,000 medical professionals are expected to attend the two-day medical meeting featuring expert faculty, clinical presentations, cases, medical trends, and future directions for the women’s health practice. Registration remains open until December 6, 2013.
WHAV and Stages in Women’s Health have reached nearly 26,000 healthcare professionals through live meetings nationwide -- and tens of thousands more through segments broadcast on air, online, and through mobile education. This year’s live capstone conference also offers a hands-on Colposcopy Master’s Course taught by global HPV expert Thomas C. Wright, Jr., M.D. “We have focused on cutting edge education in women’s health and have reached thousands of physicians over the past decade," said Wright. “Omnia Education programs help them improve the care of patients and their clinical outcomes, and I am honored to be a part of these educational initiatives.”
This year’s capstone medical conference features topics such as HPV testing and cervical disease, hypoactive sexual desire disorder, cardiovascular disease, obesity, urinary incontinence, hormone therapy, and much more. “This program is the most comprehensive live education event in the nation that focuses exclusively on women’s health,” said Dik Barsamian, President of The Omnia-Prova Education Collaborative. “Physicians from across the country will have an opportunity to participate in interactive events, ask questions of experts in their field, and learn about the newest advances in medical care.”
The capstone medical conference curriculum includes case reviews, expert interviews, faculty round tables, small-group sessions, and more. In addition, the conference will be simulcast online for those who cannot attend in person, and an online resource center is offered for attendees to gain access to course materials and medical resources.
