Open Door Outreach is an interfaith charitable organization which concentrates on the provision of food, clothing and other emergency services to families in need. As funding permits, they also offer other special assistance programs and supplemental services throughout the community. Utilizing a careful selection process ensuring that those in the most need will receive help, they operate a food pantry and when possible, offer crisis funding to aid families experiencing emergency-related utility and housing needs. The Open Door Resale Store provides gently-used, clean clothing and shoes in infant, children, teen and adult sizes at no cost for those in need, and invites the public to shop there as well, using the proceeds to support the store. Various special programs address holidays, back-to-school needs and a summer food program for children.

“This fundraiser is a great fit for our new community involvement program,” said Shirl Crowe, owner of Shirl Crowe Agency. “After all, neighbors helping neighbors is what it’s all about, and the good people at Open Door offer a compassionate, helping hand to those in most need in our community.”
