Wind Walker Weaves Story of Creation Through Destruction
Boise, ID (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- A man awakens to the vast possibilities of the universe and experiences many levels of frustration, pain, suffering, existentialism, spirituality and divine love in Wind Walker’s new book, “Follies of an Awakening Fool” (published by Balboa Press).
Told through the eyes of Melmin, a character meant to be Wind Walker’s mirror self, “Follies of an Awakening Fool” tells a story of success and failure in the material world. Melmin meets several teachers on his journey and discovers that the best medicine is also often the most harsh. Through a series of lessons, Melmin is brought to the full threshold of an awakening.
An excerpt from “Follies of an Awakening Fool”:
“A true warrior does not hate his enemy. He is not neutral to his enemy. He loves his enemy as he loves himself. He sees in his enemy a mirror, a reflection of desire and of fear to die in vain. His true enemy, he realizes, is himself.”

About the Author
Wind Walker is a U.S. Navy retiree. He used to have a normal human name. But, listening to the breeze in South American's jungles, he was told to shed all attachments to ego, and to now be called Wind. A life-long vagabond and spiritual seeker, he thought this name was pretty cool.
Recently, he completed a trek to the Amazon and Andes in South America. Many things happened, including a complete life and spiritual transformation. He has gone from a life of military service into a complete shift of consciousness.
Wind, as his name suggests, has no permanent home. He is, in fact, at home anywhere with his heart and his love, Adara. They are currently flowing on their life mission.
