How to Save Wine Explained in Cellars Wine Club's Latest Article
Monroe, Washington (PRWEB) July 03, 2013 -- Wine of the month club vendor Cellars Wine Club shows how to save half-full bottles of wine in their latest article. They hope that by preserving the good wine people receive from their wine of the month deliveries, wine drinkers will be able to appreciate their wine to the fullest. The article reviews three of the leading ways for keeping wine from oxidizing.
The first method they review results in mixed results. They explain, “There are a number of products on the market that use a nontoxic gas, such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen, inserted into a bottle with an aerosol in an attempt to displace the oxygen in the bottle. However, most of these products can only extend a wine’s life for a short period of time and often with mixed results.”
They also discuss the vacuum method of preserving. This method, Cellars Wine Club says, is about even with the gas method, and it should not be used for long term storage.
The third option they mention does better. They explain that re-bottling can accomplish much better wine preservation. They also explain how this is achieved and what type of seal should be used.
