US Sports Camps and NIKE Baseball Camps Scheduled to Host Winter Clinic at Georgia Regents University, Augusta
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- Nike Baseball Camps has partnered with the GRU Augusta Baseball coaches to provide campers the opportunity to refresh their skills before league tryouts. The NIKE Baseball Camp at GRU Augusta program takes place December 21-22 and is designed for baseball players ages 8-18.
Directing the NIKE Baseball Clinic is Jason Eller, GRU Augusta’s head baseball coach. “Hosting our first Nike Camp is really exciting and my intention is that all campers in attendance will be prepared for their upcoming season.”
Jason Eller is in his first season as the head man of the Diamond Jaguar Baseball program. Eller, spent the previous 11 seasons on the University of Georgia’s coaching staff. He was a part of three Georgia squads that advanced to the College World Series (CWS), including in 2008 when the Bulldogs were the national runner-up. He also helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back trips to the Southeastern Conference Championships. Eller made his mark as a recruiter, setting a new Bulldog standard with 49 players selected in the past seven Major League Baseball (MLB) drafts.

The clinic is separated into two sessions. December 21 will be an all skills training program and December 22 will be a pitching/catching clinic. Players have the option to attend both days or just one of the days. Players are recommended to bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats, and a snack.
