Video door phones will require recharging less often thanks to a recent product released by China Security equipment company, Chinavasion.

Today, China surveillance camera specialist Chinavasion, launched the 3.5 Inch wireless video door phone and camera set, which is a home security device with a camera capable of working off a battery for up to two months.

While video door phones are useful devices that allow home owners to identify any visitors before allowing them access to their home Chinavasion, PR Manager Rose Li says previously powering the cameras proved to be a chore.

Home exteriors tend to lack the power outlets used by cameras, says Li, resulting in home owners relying on rechargeable batteries supplied with the camera.

The average life for camera batteries on the market is 100 hours according to Li, meaning owners have to change, or charge camera batteries every four days.

“There is little point in having a video phone if the camera isn't going to record anything and it's very hard to do that when there's no power to record,” Li says. “Yet, unless home owners are very disciplined that's exactly what happens.”

With a 13240mAh battery, Li says the new 3.5 Inch video door phone and camera set will last for two months before requiring a recharge.

“Home security is a viable option with this camera,” says Li. “Something that can be expected to keep going for two months is a much more viable option than something that will give up after just four days.”

Li says the camera is capable of sending 420TVL footage through two concrete walls to give users more placement options.

“At under 200 USD, the camera is half the price of other home security offerings with exactly the same features,” said Li.

Li also mentioned that Chinavasion has a long heritage of offering affordable home security gadgets as well as providing security cameras and metal detectors ever since the company was founded, and have built up a strong reputation with customers for their affordable, cutting edge cameras.

Buyers can still expect high quality, cutting edge devices as Li stated the company has built a strong reputation online for its fast shipping times, high quality products and world-class customer service. “With 360,000 registered customers Chinavasion has a strong reputation as a supplier of the latest gadgets.”
