Women-Owned Businesses Empower Female Entrepreneurs at Harvesting Partnerships Event
On Tuesday, November 6th at 11:30 a.m., the Women's Business Council - Southwest (WBCS) will hold its annual Harvesting Partnerships event at the Courtyard Marriott Grapevine. The half-day conference focuses on top-tier educational programming with an executive keynote luncheon and awards presentation, Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) led roundtable discussions, and a closing networking reception.
IRVING, Texas, Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Tuesday, November 6th at 11:30 a.m., the Women's Business Council – Southwest (WBCS) will hold its annual Harvesting Partnerships event at the Courtyard Marriott Grapevine. The half-day conference focuses on top-tier educational programming with an executive keynote luncheon and awards presentation, Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) led roundtable discussions, and a closing networking reception.
Each year, WBCS WBEs are invited to apply for the Lillie Knox Investment Award, a member-funded cash award of up to $20,000, to help further business growth. Recipients will be presented during the event's luncheon. The luncheon will also feature a fire-side chat with keynote speaker, Debbie Dennis, Chief Customer Officer and SVP of Human Resources & Corporate Affairs at Oncor. Dennis is responsible for the strategic direction of Oncor's philanthropy, community involvement, and employee engagement initiatives and their alignment with the company's business goals.
