Katie Aweida strikes again with a fantastic playlist of unique processional songs that will add a customized touch to any wedding ceremony.

“We think it is very important for every bride and every groom to know that your processional song does not have to be the Bridal Chorus by Wagner,” Katie says. She is dedicated to encouraging couples to let their personalities shine through their wedding plans, decisions, decorations, music, and activities.

Among the nine processional songs is “Hysteric” by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, with the lovely, melodic chorus that sings, “Flow sweetly, hang heavy, you suddenly complete me, you suddenly complete me.”

Another song on Katie’s playlist is the classic “Annie’s Song” by John Denver, singing his classic chorus, “You fill up my senses, like a night in a forest, like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the rain, like a storm in the desert, like a sleepy blue ocean, you fill up my senses, come fill me again.”

The delicate, light instrumental nature of “Sea of Love” by Cat Power lends a tender touch. The chorus’ lyrics would fit any wedding theme, saying, “Come with me, my love to the sea, the sea of love. I wanna tell you how much I love you.”

The upbeat tone of “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson will energize the ceremony with a jazzy beat and the popular, clever lyrics, “Cause I love the way you say good morning. And you take me the way I am.”

Katie’s playlist consists of five other creative choices for processional music. Her expertise in the wedding industry makes her a credible source for ingenious selections that cause a wedding ceremony to showcase the couple’s personalities.
