WordStream Employees Helped the Company Rank 24th in the Large Business Category

As WordStream has grown, we’ve made sure to remain focused on creating the best workplace possible for one of our company’s best assets: our people. We’re so glad that our employees recognize this, and we’re thrilled that they think we’re one of the top places to work.

WordStream, Inc., a provider of online marketing software and services, is proud to announce it has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the 12th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. This year, more than 65,981 people working at 323 companies participated. The 125 winning companies were announced in The Boston Globe Magazine on November 17, and WordStream ranked 24th in the large business category.

Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state chosen by the people who know them best—their employees. The confidential survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.

WordStream previously made the list in 2017 as a medium-sized business. This year, for the first time, the company has ranked among other large businesses in the Boston area.

“WordStream has grown significantly over the last few years, we are excited to now fall into the large-sized business category,” said Vice President of People Success Lucy Lemons. “As we’ve expanded and brought on new employees, we’ve made sure to remain focused on creating the best workplace possible for one of our company’s best assets: our people. We’re so glad that our employees recognize this, and we’re thrilled that they think we’re one of the top places to work.”

WordStream and the rest of the winning companies share a few key traits: offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and fostering a fun and collaborative workplace. To see the full list of winners, visit globe.com/topplaces.
