Call for Presentations: Modular Building Institute Seeks Speakers for World of Modular 2014
(PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- The Modular Building Institute, the international trade association that has served commercial modular construction for 30 years, is accepting submissions for presentations to be given at the 2014 World of Modular. The annual convention and tradeshow will be held March 21-24 at the JW Marriott in San Antonio, Texas. World of Modular, the only event dedicated exclusively to commercial modular construction, draws 500-600 attendees from 15 countries -- including builders, suppliers, GCs, developers, architects and academics.
Presentation topics may be any subject of interest to the modular building community, such as project case studies, lean construction methods, innovative products, automation, green building, sustainability, LEED, net zero, market drivers, productivity, the integration of modular and traditional construction, research and development, best practices, federal construction, business management, technology, collaboration, safety and more.
Submissions should include suggested title, a brief description, suggested length and presenter contact information, and should be sent to Steven Williams at steven(at)modular(dot)org by August 9, 2013.
