World Patent Marketing, a vertically integrated manufacturer and engineer of patented products, announces The Rescue Rope, a tool designed to retrieve hunting equipment.

"The Sporting Goods industry is worth $63 billion," says Scott Cooper, CEO and Creative Director of World Patent Marketing. "This is a very useful item for for a fairly large industry that’s sure to grow."

"Hunting is a sport that requires a lot of time and focus. This can lead to misplaced equipment," says Jerry Shapiro, Director of Manufacturing and World Patent Marketing Inventions. "The Rescue Rope can easily and quickly retrieve that equipment to prevent the hunter from being spotted."

The Rescue Rope is a tool that is used to retrieve dropped items from a distance. It is a long rope with a hook, a magnet, and a velcro at the end. Each of these can pick up a different kind of object or material. This is an invention primarily meant for hunting but it can be used for anything. It is very useful when an item is dropped while climbing a tree or from a high vantage point, as the item can be retrieved without having to climb down.

“The inspiration for the name is that, when deer hunting, I use a climbing tree stand to get about 25 to 30 feet up a tree and try to minimize any disturbance that may alert the deer to my presence,” says inventor Ronald M, “When I drop something or forget to tie something to my hoist rope, I would have to climb back down to get it. That creates movement, noise, and additional scent due to sweating. Being able to drop the rescue rope to recover anything heavy with the hook, clothing (gloves or hat) with the Velcro, and steel (arrowheads, knife) with the magnet, I am able to stay up in the tree and not ruin the hunting trip. I have done it with deer around and managed to recover items without spooking the deer.”

Joseph Gallison, a store manager and hunter from Wisconsin, had this to say about The Rescue Rope: “I love to go hunting on weekends. This will be a very useful invention that will let me pick up anything I’ve dropped without alerting my prey.”
