World Patent Marketing, a vertically integrated manufacturer and engineer of patented products, announces The Wound Debridement Training Model, a medical invention that allows people to practice wound treatment.
“The medical industry is worth $3 trillion,” says Scott Cooper, CEO and Creative Director of World Patent Marketing. "This is a medical practice invention that will greatly increase the overall effectiveness of the medical industry."
“Learning to be a doctor is very difficult since there are no live subjects to practice on,” says Jerry Shapiro, Director of Manufacturing and World Patent Marketing. “This invention will simulate a realistic environment for doctors to practice on where there are no lives at stake.”
The Wound Debridement Training Model is a medical invention designed to help aspiring medical practitioners to learn without serious consequences. In order to get real experience as a medical practitioner, most people need to actually perform a real operation since there’s no similar analog for human tissue. The purpose of this invention is to create a lifelike model that simulates human flesh that can be practiced on. It can be cut up and will respond realistically. This model is disposable and its tissue meant to be removed so it can be used for practice, unlike most other models that are just meant to be visual. This idea has already proven very effective and will only grow as it reaches out to the public. It could be a big plus to the medical industry.
"As a Certified Wound Specialist, I am passionate about training front line practitioners (Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, and students) who treat pressure ulcers,” says inventor Cari N. “Currently, there are no realistic wound debridement models--or practice models--on the market on which to train them. Debridement of dead tissue is a skill which should not be "practiced" on an actual human patient (who would want to be the guinea pig for that)? My invention simulates an actual wound with dead tissue and allows the wound care practitioner/student the opportunity to practice their skill prior to using them on a human patient. The wound model is interactive, disposable and realistic so that the learner can perfect their skills and improve patient care."
The Wound Debridement Training Model is a medical invention that will allow nurses and doctors to practice treating wounds on a model before attempting it on the real thing.
