World's First Magnetic Silk Tie, that Always Stays Together in Perfect Form, Launches on Kickstarter
Featuring modern reversible patterns designed by a former Nike creative director, 'Magnetie' by Corso redefines the tie, using lightweight magnets to keep it straight, and a DWR coating to prevent the inevitable blemish that comes from spilling on silk
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Just in time for Father's Day, Corso is introducing a game-changing accessory for men: Magnetie, the tie reinvented.
Corso, creators of high-quality business apparel and accessories, has launched the crowdfunding campaign for Magnetie on Kickstarter.
"We decided to give this 17th century creation a shakeup, one that could lend itself to the busy working professionals of today," said Corso Co-founder, Brody Van Brocklin. "The Magnetie redefines what a tie is, keeping it in perfect form at all times for a highly attractive look – and available in designs that can adapt to any style or wardrobe."
The Magnetie stays together with perfect form thanks to embedded magnets. No tie tacks are needed to help it stay in place. Delivering superior quality, these ties are 100 percent silk and feature a stain-proof DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, so they can withstand food and drink spills.
Adapting to anyone's personal or professional style, Magnetie comes in four unique reversible patterns developed and designed by a former creative director of Nike.
Van Brocklin's wife, Cara Loren Van Brocklin, a Utah mom, blogger and founder of the Cara Loren Store in 2012, has been dropping teaser pictures of the ties on Instagram leading up to the launch.
"I've never received so many messages from people asking how and when they can buy the product, so we're excited to finally bring Magnetie to the public through this campaign," Brody Van Brocklin said.

The introduction of Magnetie follows on the heels of Corso's successful crowdfunding campaign introducing the Mindful Notebook – which nearly quadrupled the funding goal on Kickstarter.
So, why would a company known for functional notebooks create a neckwear line?
"We will be producing several products for people like us – young, busy professionals that are particular about the goods we buy," Van Brocklin said. "Everything Corso will ever produce will be a collaboration with a top organization or designer."
The first 4,000 ties will be available in time for Father's Day on June 16, so buyers looking for a unique gift can order now by visiting Corso's Magnetie Campaign Page on Kickstarter.
