Emily Gonzalez, of Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Receives Top Fundraiser Award for Alabama Gulf Coast American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Walk

Gonzalez, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, based in Gulf Shores, Ala., aided in helping the organization raise more than $350,000 for the regional branch.
The American Heart Association’s Alabama Gulf Coast regional branch held their Annual Heart Walk event at the public pier in Fairhope, Ala. celebrating the completion of the 2014 fundraising season. The organization received $350,000 through corporate and individual fundraising efforts including $68,736 raised within the “Executive Challenge” division, in which Gonzalez was honored for being a “Top 5 Walker.”
“Emily is an outstanding volunteer for the American Heart Association,” stated Bridgett Dunn, Regional Director of the Alabama Gulf Coast division of the American Heart Association. “Over the years, she has served as a Heart Walk Company Leader, Team Captain, Top Walker and Executive Challenge Champion. Emily is also an active Executive Leadership Team member for Art for Heart and will be one of the chairs for our 2017 Art for Heart Gala that is held in Orange Beach every year. She has been touched by several close friends and family members who have had heart disease and serves as a strong pillar of support for our community.”
