Xpress-pay SubscripXion Plan Gives Merchants an Alternative ePayment Acceptance Option in 2019
The new program provides merchants with a viable substitute to the traditional pay-per-transaction model. One low monthly fee provides for unlimited online and mobile payment processing
CORTLAND, N.Y., Dec. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Building on their previous programs, Xpress-pay announced today they're now offering merchants a SubscripXion Plan to begin accepting online and mobile payments through their secure portal. Offered in two tiers, the plan allows merchants to pay either a flat $10 per month to accept unlimited credit card or eCheck (ACH) ePayments for free, or $15 per month to accept both unlimited cards and eChecks.
Regarding the new offer, James Buttino, President of Xpress-pay said, "The simplicity of this plan reflects the incredible evolution this product has seen since its launch 13 years ago. We are confident this new streamlined approach will resonate with the thousands of merchants currently unable to accept ePayments because of the costs, while giving others a proven alternative to their current pay-per-transaction model."
The monthly fee merchants pay covers their typical account administrative costs. A site fee, paid by the consumer for delivery and security costs, covers the rest. This way, merchants receive 100% of the amount they're due. The only other costs merchants may incur are for atypical fees associated with their merchant account, such as chargebacks, NSF's, etc.
Xpress-pay has deployed this new offer to increase penetration in both the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) ePayment spaces. They currently serve thousands of organizations in these verticals, including insurance, government, utilities, property management, and other service-oriented businesses.
James added, "There's been a lot of discussion lately about how payment industry professionals can break into the widely untapped B2B payment space. We've been doing it for years now, and are hoping to attract new partners and providers that want to leverage this proven technology to grow their businesses. Fraud is also almost nonexistent in these verticals, chargebacks are nominal, and the average tickets are significantly higher than in retail. All of this creates a unique and profitable opportunity for everyone moving forward."
Once enrolled, merchants also gain access to the full suite of ePayment features Xpress-pay offers. Most notably, a branded visitor experience, an Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) system, click-to-pay emails, and direct website and 3rd party software integration capabilities.
Consumers can also create their own secure digital wallet to store payment credentials, view transaction history, and maintain recurring payment schedules, among others. All of this is managed within Xpress-pay's certified Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level One environment. They've been listed on Visa's Global Registry since 2009 under the parent company, Systems East, Inc.
James ended by saying, "We're very excited to see this plan launch just ahead of the New Year. It's an incredibly simple and affordable approach for any business, and we honestly feel it eliminates the confusion and frustration executives in all sectors have expressed in the past. By protecting our clients' bottom lines, and delivering proven ePayment solutions, we're looking forward to what's in store for 2019."
