BUENA PARK, Calif., August 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Yamaha Drums today announced the signing of Lee Kelley to the company's artist roster.
Nashville-based drummer Lee Kelley successfully carved his way as a prominent musician when he arrived in Nashville, in the middle of the multi-year country music boom. As of May 2019, Kelley performs with the legendary Hank Williams Jr. and is currently out on his U.S. tour. Highlighting his extensive resume, Kelley has performed on national and international tours and TV appearances with artists such as Gary Allan, Shannon Lawson, Mark Chesnutt, Heidi Newfield, Chris Knight and Kendell Marvel. Some of his career milestones include performing on CBS, CMT and TNN, drumming on several appearances for the hit ABC Television Show "Nashville" as well as touring on the "CMT's Most Wanted Live Tour" with headliner Brad Paisley and "Crown Royal Untamed and True" tours with headliner, Mark Chesnutt.
In between touring, Kelley focuses on his internet drum tracking business called "Boom Boom Drum Room" and teaching online and locally in Nashville. To complement his style and needs for a working drummer, Kelley plays the Yamaha Tour Custom Maple drum kit in a Licorice Satin Finish along with 800 Series hardware.
"From top to bottom and line to line, you won't find a more consistently made and quality sounding instrument than Yamaha," said Kelley. "Everything about them inspires me to play better at every sitting."
