YES AND Announces Digital Earth Day Sustainability Summit featuring Fashion Icon Amber Valletta
Celebrating Our Planet, Global Community and Newly Launched Sustainable Fashion Brand
NEW YORK, April 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As we step into a new, global chapter on the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, ECOfashion Corp will host a digital Earth Day Event as a call to action to protect human and planetary wellness. The event will be curated by Marci Zaroff, ECOlifestyle pioneer, Founder/CEO of ECOfashion Corp and author of ECOrenaissance, and will feature notable "Illuminartists" from Zaroff's book, such as actress, supermodel and activist, Amber Valletta, zero-waste champion and Package-Free Founder/CEO Lauren Singer, "Orange is the New Black" actress, Producer and environmentalist Alysia Reiner, and author of The OMD Plan: Swap One Meal a Day to Save your Health and Save the Planet, environmental leader and Red Carpet Green Dress Founder Suzy Amis Cameron, among others. The virtual summit will also celebrate the launch of ECOfashion Corp's newest sustainable fashion brand, YES AND. The event will commence via ZOOM at 5:30pm EST. The lineup will include star musical performers, a relaxing Sound Bath and an engaging forum led by ECOrenaissance thought leaders with a shared passion for co-creating a stylish AND sustainable world.
The event will open with a performance from singer, producer, YouTuber and actor, Alex Aiono, followed by a Sound Bath led by Meditation Teacher and author, Sara Auster sponsored by TONIC.
The summit is a call to action uniting industry trailblazers around a collective vision to accelerate positive impact in food, fashion and beauty — from organic and regenerative agriculture to a "rebirth" of humanity through a more conscious and sustainable popular culture. Connecting the lifestyle dots, other expert panelists include Robyn O'Brien, Co-Founder of rePlant Capital, author of The Unhealthy Truth, speaker, financier and builder of a better food system, who will address the current crisis on our farm workers, Susan Griffin-Black, Co-Founder of EO Products, who will share the beautiful benefits of pure organic essential oils as accessible to EveryOne, and Samata Pattinson, CEO of Red Carpet Green Dress, who will discuss the power of collaboration at the Academy Awards and beyond.
The event will be moderated by Kaley Roshitsh, Women's Wear Daily's (WWD) Sustainability Editor. Roshitsh is known as the go-to source for sustainability in the fashion industry and was the first reporter to take on the sustainability beat at the famous trade publication, where Marci is also a regularly featured thought leader and columnist.
Marci Zaroff saw this global pause, paired with the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, as an opportunity to unify the ever-growing community of ecolifestyle advocates and general public alike. "We have the power to design a cleaner, greener, healthier future. With a common focus on the greater good, we can be the change, and wear the change, we wish to see in the world."
This event shines a light on ECOfashion Corp's latest brand, YES AND. ECOfashion Corp, a "GreenHouse of Brands," which also includes Farm to Home and MetaWear, will donate a percentage of sales to RESET, its innovative and groundbreaking farm project that ensures a lasting impact on India's cotton belt and champions regenerative organic farming. Their primary purpose is to support farmers with the tools they need in transition to regenerative organic, while addressing climate change mitigation, soil health, women's empowerment, cradle to cradle principles, and farmer livelihoods.
Digital Gift Bags will comprise earth-friendly products and services from complementary organizations who share many of ECOfashion Corp's core values.
By visiting joinyesand.com/pages/RSVP, the public can register for this FREE event, taking place on Wednesday April 22nd from 5:30-7:30PM EST on ZOOM.
