Yoga Vacations and Retreat Offered in California
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- Bringing Family and Yoga practice together during this special time here at the Ashram. Participants will enjoy the peaceful nature, have fun and quality time with your family, while shaping body and mind in the daily Asana classes and spiritual courses.
The Family Week offers and an adjusted Ashram schedule to Family needs. Qualified staff members will provide some childcare, kids Yoga Asana classes and kids meditation, to give parents time for their personal Sadhana (spiritual practice), but some parental supervision of the children is required. Accommodations
Family accommodation in four-bed cabins are available, however, space is limited. If you would like to be nearer to nature, bring a tent.

Mother of two girls, a nearly eight year old and a grown up who studies in Berlin, Germany. She has a background in Art and Design and brings a love for all kinds of nature projects. Katyayani is teaching Yoga, including visualization and breathing techniques, to children of all age groups in the Bay Area. She has been teaching at our San Francisco center and the Children's Yoga Camp here at the Yogafarm for the last 6 years.
The Yoga Farm also hosts a Yoga Nidra course, courses on Yogic philosophy, Yoga for back pain and ayurvedic retreats, and an advanced teacher's training course (ATTC). The Advanced Yoga Teacher's Training Course helps graduates to deepen their spiritual practice and their study of Hatha yoga, Vedanta philosophy, Raja yoga, anatomy and Sanskrit. The advanced class gives students an additional chance to practice under guidance in a supportive atmosphere, which provides many with a boost of energy and clarity.
About Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm
In 1971, Swami Vishnudevananda returned to California and founded the third ashram in the young Sivananda International organization: the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm on 40 acres of land located in the Gold Country of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Foothills in Northern California.
