YogaTrail, the Social Network that’s Just for Yoga, is Crowdfunding a New Mobile App on Indiegogo
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) May 20, 2015 -- YogaTrail is a free online platform where yoga practitioners connect with their yoga providers and with their own, personal yoga world. In 2014, over 1 million people found their yoga on the website, and the success of the platform is now overwhelming the creators. For this reason, Team YogaTrail is reaching out to the crowd to raise funding for their new and improved mobile app (for both iOS and Android), and to make much-needed platform improvements. Their mobile app promises to solve a ubiquitous problem for yoga practitioners- namely, how to keep track of the classes and schedules of their preferred yoga teachers and studios. By bringing multiple schedules into one consolidated calendar, the app will make it very simple for a yogi to plan their own yoga schedule by seeing all of their options. The app will also provide instant notifications about class cancellations or schedule changes. With over 100,000 yoga providers and 15,000 yoga events in YogaTrail’s database, it will also be the largest “yoga finder”-type mobile app on the market.
Similar to the website, the YogaTrail mobile app will be entirely free for all yogis and yoga providers. Independent teachers and studios can fully participate in the database, in stark contrast to other existing yoga directory apps that only include paying clients. Another notable difference is that the YogaTrail app will provide dense coverage not only in the major U.S. yoga hubs, but in thousands of smaller towns and regions in over one hundred countries throughout the world.
