Laurens Municipal Signs Up for ZCorum’s TruVizion Diagnostics and Provisioning Services
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics, announced that Laurens Municipal Power & Communications has signed a multi-year contract for ZCorum’s broadband modem and network diagnostic solution, TruVizion. In addition, ZCorum will be handling provisioning for the municipality’s cable modem service. Laurens Municipal Power & Communications, located in Northwest Iowa, offers electricity, telephone, cable television, and internet services to the town’s 1,300 residents.
Prior to partnering with ZCorum, Laurens Municipal Power & Communications received provisioning services, diagnostics and monitoring from a different provider. According to Chad Cleveland, General Manager of Laurens Municipal, the company researched alternative solutions and found that ZCorum’s products offered an advanced diagnostic solution at a better price. “We were impressed with the features in TruVizion, plus we’ll be saving money each month. The app, available on both Android and Apple devices, will allow technicians to view modem and CMTS statistics while in the field.
