Syntermed’s Video Demo, Emory (Cardiac) Toolbox™ 4.0 and SmartReport™: Software with a Brain

Syntermed’s Video Demo, Emory (Cardiac) Toolbox™ 4.0 and SmartReport™: Software with a BrainOctober 22, 2013Emory Toolbox 4.0 is the first 510K accepted by FDA for (cardiac) image decision support; now with "smarts" to allow interpretation of SPECT and PET myocardial perfusion studies. As reported at ASNC, the outcomes from the 1000-patient Emory University study showed Emory Toolbox 4.0 and SmartReport has a sensitivity, specificity and accuracy that is comparable to that of the nuclear cardiology expert.

Syntermed Media Advisory: Emory Toolbox 4.0 and SmartReport Showcased at ASNC, September 26-29, Booth 516

Syntermed Media Advisory: Emory Toolbox 4.0 and SmartReport Showcased at ASNC, September 26-29, Booth 516September 20, 2013Syntermed, Inc, based in Atlanta, GA, will be an exhibitor at this year's American Society of Nuclear Cardiology annual meeting, booth 516. Syntermed has a new medical imaging software product called SmartReport, and along with the recently FDA cleared Emory Toolbox 4.0, these products are steamlining data-driven technology in the nuclear cardiology labs to improve workflow, simplify EMR integration, and generate faster SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging reports all on a cloud-based, remote access system.

Syntermed Launches NeuroQ 3.5 - Nuclear Medicine Diagnostic Program at Alzheimer’s Association 2010 International Conference

Syntermed Launches NeuroQ 3.5 - Nuclear Medicine Diagnostic Program at Alzheimer’s Association 2010 International Conference July 12, 2010More than 40 percent of patients diagnosed with early dementia, were found not to have Alzheimer’s disease on autopsy. Other forms of dementia and conditions that can cause memory problems go undiagnosed and untreated. Syntermed's NeuroQ software program increases accuracy of FDG-PET brain imaging for improved diagnosis of dementia and AD. Syntermed, Inc. is also collaborating with Avid Radiopharmaceuticals to quantify Amyloid uptake for Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Secure remote access of PET Scans for Clinical Trials is now possible with Syntermed Live™.

Dr. Silverman comments on July 11 AV-45 clinical presentation at the International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease (ICAD)

July 11, 2010Daniel Silverman, MD, PhD, Director, UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, Brain Imaging Clinic comments on newest advances in diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease (AD) based on the July 11 AV-45 clinical presentation at ICAD. His team is presenting results of their current research using FDG-PET brain imaging and NeuroQ. The poster titled “Clinical and quantitative fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography in pre- and symptomatic persons inheriting familial Alzheimer's disease mutations," will be presented Monday, Jul 12, at 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM (HST). As the head of the Neuronuclear Imaging Section at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Silverman is an internationally known researcher, specializing in nuclear medicine imaging studies for the improved diagnosis and treatment of many types of dementia, including AD.

GE Healthcare Demonstrates Sync Tool™ on its Xeleris 2 Workstation -- Nuclear Cardiac Imaging Software Licensed from Syntermed

September 12, 2008SyncTool software helps to predict which heart failure patients will benefit from cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). Syntermed also unveils ReconTools™ at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Sept. 10-14, Boston, MA. Emory University announced it is exclusively licensing Emory Reconstruction Toolbox (ERTb) to Syntermed and the company will market ERTb software as ReconTools™. ReconTools provide reconstructed data sets that can be analyzed by many quantitative platforms including Emory Cardiac Toolbox™ (ECTb), providing an integrated, complete software solution for myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging.

Remote Readers, a New Group of Nuclear Cardiologists, Use Syntermed Live™ to Improve Diagnostic Value of Nuclear Heart Images

September 11, 2008Syntermed, Inc., an Atlanta-based nuclear medicine imaging and informatics software company will demonstrate several new cardiac imaging software programs at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiologists, meeting in Boston through Sunday. Syntermed Live is one of the featured products along with Emory Cardiac Toolbox, SyncTool and ReconTool. ..."Nuclear cardiologists are utilizing the Syntermed Live™ system to easily access secure, high-resolution heart images and diagnostic information. The trend towards virtual access and remote reading is more than a convenience for nuclear cardiologists. They can now retrieve archived files for comparison studies and communicate quickly with colleagues..."
