New Lawsuit on Pradaxa Bleeding and Deaths: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and they are now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on Pradaxa Lawsuits.
According to court documents, on May 31, several plaintiffs filed a lawsuit in St. Clair County Circuit Court (case no. 3-L-273) alleging that their relatives died or suffered severe bleeding from Pradaxa. Pradaxa, manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, is mainly used as a blood thinner for patients who are at risk for stroke or atrial fibrillation. In the lawsuit, some of the plaintiffs claim that their relatives died within months of taking Pradaxa and others claim that Pradaxa caused them chronic bleeding leading to blood transfusions.
On May 24, the surviving relatives of a woman filed a lawsuit in Louisiana Eastern District Court (case no. 2:2013cv03938) alleging that the decedent suffered an ischemic stroke from Pradaxa and died.
Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in case of alleged Pradaxa severe complications. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at AttorneyOne.com, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file Pradaxa lawsuits. "For that reason," he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”
Court documents indicate that the first bellwether trial in the Pradaxa Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) has been scheduled for August 2014. More than 650 lawsuits are now part of the Pradaxa MDL (No. 2385, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Illinois).
