New Book: Announcing The Book of the Is: A book on bridges, Written by Political Theorist Bryan W. Brickner
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Announcing The Book of the Is: A book on bridges, written by political theorist Bryan W. Brickner, with an introductory essay, “The Peace Terms of We the People.”
“A political theory of the Is,” opened Brickner, “would have to include everything and be able to discuss such topics as mythology and religion, war and peace, constitutions and bodies, as well as their absence – the nothingness of the world: The Book of the Is makes that attempt.”
Brickner has a 1997 political science doctorate from Purdue University and is the author of several theory books, to include The Promise Keepers: Politics and Promises (1999), Article the first of the Bill of Rights (2006), and is one of many co-authors and publisher of the 2011 banned booked, The Cannabis Papers: A citizen’s guide to cannabinoids.
The four chapters and 80 aphorisms in The Book of the Is cover the importance of the prophets and the Abrahamic trilogy, Jesus as Christ and his role in war, George Washington as revolutionary and deliverer, as well as the cannabinoid systems of Louis Armstrong and President George W. Bush.
“The Is is a rich topic and keeps giving,” offered Brickner. “The Book of the Is was written ten years ago; it hasn’t been updated for President Obama’s work and the current polity, though it does offer insights and solutions for our dysfunctional dichotomous thinking: the US is constitutional or it isn’t.”
The Bryan William Brickner blog is a collection of published works and press coverage and an ongoing resource for the political science of constitutions and the biological science of cannabinoids. In 2013, Brickner also released the novella, thereafter: (Or, The crows of Wicker Park), the third book of a political fiction trilogy.
The Book of the Is: A book on bridge is available at online retailers for $11 or less.
