University of Virginia Implements Infolinx WEB™ for Managing Records

Reflecting the university’s long-standing commitment to excellence, the school’s implementation of the Infolinx WEB™ product enables the UVa Records Management Office to provide state-of-the-art service for university faculty and staff. The installed Infolinx WEB application includes the tracking of research, organizational, and facilities management records, while also integrating with offsite storage providers facilitating the seamless transfer of records to and from these vendors. Supporting all major web browsers including Safari on Mac OS, the solution boasts an advanced, configurable security model including integration with the university’s NetBadge authentication protocol. Significant workflow process improvements are being realized through automated email notifications generated by Infolinx WEB, as well as the implementation of an enterprise retention schedule based off of that maintained by the Library of Virginia.
