Matthew Rubin To Lead InfoDesk Business Intelligence Solutions Sales Team
Tarrytown, NY (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- InfoDesk, a leading provider of business intelligence solutions, has appointed Matthew Rubin as Vice President of Sales. Rubin, a senior sales executive with 15 years of corporate sales experience in the business intelligence field will lead InfoDesk’s sales team, driving new business development for the rapidly growing company.
Most recently, Rubin was Regional Sales Director at Dow Jones, where he led a team of sales professionals in the greater New York area. In that capacity, he oversaw corporate content and solution sales for many of the largest financial and corporate organizations in the world.
InfoDesk saw Rubin as a natural fit for the role of Vice President of Sales, according to Sterling Stites, CEO of InfoDesk. “We’re providing innovative business and corporate intelligence solutions to some of the world’s largest companies and top government agencies,” said Stites. “It goes without saying, Matt is a perfect choice – his leadership experience and knowledge of the content market from Dow Jones will help InfoDesk continue to expand its presence in the corporate and financial markets.”
At Dow Jones, Rubin was responsible for driving new business revenue through effective revenue maintenance, sales forecasting, pipeline management and account development efforts. Additionally, he directed lead qualification, training/client education, closing strategies and overall territory planning.
“I’m thrilled—I can’t think of a better time to join InfoDesk,” says Rubin. “The corporate intelligence market is in a state of flux right now and InfoDesk’s ‘content neutral’ platform offers a perfect alternative to the many organizations seeking new corporate intelligence solutions.”
Previously, Rubin was Strategic Account Manager with Dow Jones, Enterprise Media Group where he managed global multi-million dollar relationships with Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Marsh & McLennan.
Rubin will focus primarily driving growth for Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions, which meet the rapidly changing information needs of corporate communications, brand management and other institutional information professionals.
InfoDesk's BI Solutions dramatically simplify the process of content curation and distribution. Further, all of InfoDesk’s BI Solutions offer more content options, better content curation tools, off-the shelf dashboards, interactive corporate newsletters, and outsourced managed news summaries, as well as host of other highly customizable BI solutions.
The company’s InfoWatch business intelligence dashboard was recently named a finalist for the 2014 SIIA CODiE Awards for “Best Business Information Solution.” Finalists represent the information industry’s best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers.
