Our culture has been the backbone of everything we've done since the beginning. The people here are what have, and will make us great.

Urbana, IA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014

Iowa governor Terry Branstad visited Clickstop Inc., an e-commerce company and manufacturer in Urbana, IA, on Thursday, February 27th.

The governor toured the 78,000+ square foot facility, where the company added a new manufacturing division for its US Cargo Control division in 2013. The new business initiative resulted in the addition of 50 new jobs in this NE Iowa community. Branstad spoke to company officials and local residents about his plans for the year and praised Clickstop’s contribution to his goal of creating 200,000 jobs over a five year period.

“I think this is a company that’s going to continue to grow and be very successful,” said Branstad. “We want to encourage more entrepreneurs like this to locate here in the state of Iowa.”

Tim Guenther, CEO and President of Clickstop told the company’s story during the visit.

In 2005, Guenther began selling ratchet straps and other cargo control products for its now flagship site, US Cargo Control.com. The company now also operates an additional 10 web stores, including FastenersPlus.com, EcoFoil.com, and SpaceSavers.com.

Clickstop has experienced growth each year since it was founded, and is the only company to be recognized as a Fastest Growing Company by the Corridor Business Journal for five consecutive years. In 2013, it was also ranked #1 among medium- sized companies on the publication’s “Coolest Places to Work” list. Additionally, Clickstop has been named to the Inc. Magazine 500|5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies for four consecutive years.

Guenther credited the company’s unique culture and talented employees for the incredible growth.

“Our culture has been the backbone of everything we've done since the beginning. The people here are what have, and will make us great,” said Guenther. “This company has grown and changed every year – I can’t wait to see where we go next.”
