Vantage LED Experiences Substantial Growth and Purchases Larger LED Sign Production Facility
Ontario, CA (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- With a fresh and revolutionary approach in a somewhat stagnant LED sign industry, Vantage LED has become one of the industry’s most exciting success stories. Arguably one of the fastest growing LED sign manufacturers in the US, they continue to be an innovative force that demands attention after announcing at the recent ISA Sign Expo the purchase and expansion into a new 150,000 square foot facility in Ontario, California. According to founder and CEO Chris Ma, the new expansion shows their continued commitment to faster production, more innovation, and overall dedication to excellent customer experience.
“We started looking to purchase a larger location last year to match our growth projections for 2014 and beyond.” explained Ma, “We want to grow smart, and make sure we continue to provide the service our partners expect and deserve. This new location will support that and more, with plenty of room for long term expansion.”
Located just south of Ontario International Airport, the 150,000 square foot facility stands on 8.66 acres providing additional room for new construction in the future. The building originally housed BAE systems who was a major technology contractor for the US Department of Defense. It was a natural fit for Vantage LED who takes pride in their innovative approach to LED sign technology.
“We were able to take advantage of the design and basic infrastructure from the previous owners and hop right in with our own equipment.” said Kyle Carnes, Chief IT and Systems Director, “The design really promotes a culture of efficiency, hard work, and high tech innovation”
They have affectionately nicknamed the new space “The Vineyard”. In part for the street name, but more importantly for what the space represents. Growth, opportunity, creativity, hard work and, ultimately, success.
Vantage LED was founded on these principles in 2003 by Chris Ma, a young entrepreneur in Walnut, California who saw the need for a better product, better lead times, and better software for the LED sign industry. Focusing on the OEM market, the company saw steady growth and became a respected supplier for industry insiders.
“We focused on being a partner to our customers, not just a supplier.” said Ma, “We listened to their needs and learned from their feedback to improve our product and give them exactly what they needed. Today, this continues to be the formula for our success.”
Vantage LED continued to expand over the years, building trust and developing the manufacturing techniques and component design that power the quality products produce today. In 2011, they moved from their original location in Walnut, California to a larger facility in Corona, concurrently building a large traditional dealer network. In 2012, they hit the ground running with a new interactive website, dealer resources, and the addition of national representatives and industry talent across the country.
“We wanted to focus on helping our dealer partners by sharing the tools and marketing power of the Vantage LED name.” explained Paul Martin, Director of Marketing. “By leveraging our brand, resources, and talent, our partners have been able to increase sales and their own brand recognition at the same time; it’s a win win situation.”
To close out an already successful year, Ma was awarded the “Spirit of the Entrepreneur” award recognizing southern California’s top business leaders and their contributions to the economy and community. Selected from over 150 nominees in several categories, Ma won both the manufacturing, and overall “Best of the Best” award; a pleasant surprise for everyone at Vantage LED.
“I was extremely humbled by the award and what it represents, but it takes an entire team of talented people to make the vision of our company a reality. I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and look forward to doing even more in 2014 and beyond.” Ma said.
The move to the larger facility wasn’t entirely unexpected by many in the industry, but the announcement at the ISA Sign Expo was a welcome cause for celebration and excitement for all. Attendees have come to expect new and exciting releases from Vantage LED. Last year, they partnered with Spectacular Media to introduce SM Infinity, an industry first cloud-based LED sign control software for the general market. The software is a part of new product offering Vantage LED calls Series 51 which includes a 5 year parts and onsite service warranty plus one full year of professional content creation through SM Infinity’s content service.
“We aim to stay ahead of the curve, and keep the industry on it’s toes.” said Ivan Perez, Director of Resources, “Last year, it was SM Infinity and our new warranty program, this year its our expansion, point of sale integration, and automatic campaign management on LED signs. We can’t wait until next year!”
Vantage LED exhibited a strong start for 2014, and plans on keeping up the momentum. According to their new “Strength” campaign, they are not just manufacturing LED signs, but strong dealer partners by providing even more resources like an insured warranty, co-branded marketing materials, and a free press release service. In an industry often referred to as the “Wild West” of business, it’s good to see quality manufacturers like Vantage LED leading the way through innovation, good people, and old fashioned hard work.
“It’s not just about LED signs;“ said Ma, “It’s the people, our passion for quality, and our constant desire to improve that drives our company and the partnerships we cultivate; our expansion is a symbol of the commitment we make to these principles and our valued partners.”
