Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) February 12, 2015
Leading biogenetic researcher Fang Yuan, MD, PhD, is joining the Bio-Logic Aqua Research® China rollout team for Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® all natural water mist for dry eyes. The internationally licensed product is owned, patented and bottled by Bio-Logic Aqua® Research of Grants Pass, Oregon. The announcement was made by water advocate and radio host Sharon Kleyne, who is also Chairman and Founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research.
Dr. Fang Yuan is General Manager of Zhejiang Dilon Biometrics and head of the Tumor Pathology Molecular Diagnosis Center at the Tianhe High-Tech Industrial Park. His research interests are in neurosciences, receptor pharmacology, molecular biology, genomics and in vitro molecular pathological tumor diagnosis. Fang holds and participates in ten research grants from NIH and NSF and has authored ten peer reviewed articles.
Kleyne is Founder and Chairman of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research, a global research and technology center in fresh water, the atmosphere and dehydration. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the Research Center’s signature product, a personal hand held fresh water misting device for dry eyes. Kleyne also hosts the syndicated Sharon Kleyne Hour™ Power of Water® radio show, heard weekly on VoiceAmerica and Apple iTunes.
Kleyne has known Dr. Fang for ten years, since his tenure as a Researcher at the Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health and Sciences University, in Portland, Oregon.
“Very few people understand as well as Dr. Fang, the science, technology and IP of Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® and personal eye misting,” says Kleyne. “We are lucky to have an individual of his caliber representing our Research Center in China.”
Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® will be marketed and distributed in China, according to Kleyne, through multiple licensing partnership contracts targeting specific groups that are at high risk for dry eye symptoms. The product is similarly licensed in many other countries. Kleyne projects that the China market will eventually constitute 80 percent of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research’s consumer products business. China has the world’s largest population and the word’s largest consumer economy..
Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is a personal portable hand held humidifying device for dry or dehydrated eyes. The product converts the Research Center’s trade secret all-natural tissue culture grade fresh water into an ultra fine mist. When released by the humidifier, the mist creates an envelope of clean, fresh, humid air in front of the eyes that is readily absorbed into the ocular tear film. .
A normal ocular tear film is 99 percent water. Dry eye discomfort can be triggers by a drop in tear film moisture content of only two percent.
Because of China’s frequently poor air quality and widespread desertification, according to Kleyne, the country has a high rate of environmentally caused dry eye symptoms. Dry air and airborne carbon particulates are extremely dehydrating to the delicate tear film covering the eyes’ exposed portions. Dry air increases the rate at which water in the tear film evaporates into the atmosphere. Carbon particulates, an extremely common pollutant, are desiccants that literally suck the moisture out of whatever they touch.
Both Kleyne and Fang express excitement about the Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® China launch. According to Kleyne, Fang is confident that Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® will become a “new lifestyle” for millions of Chinese experiencing discomfort from environmentally caused dry eye.
In the United States, says Kleyne, 22,000 optometrists and ophthalmologists have personally endorsed Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®. Kleyne and Fang express confidence that the product will obtain the same level of approval in China.
Dr. Fang was interviewed by on the Sharon Kleyne Hour™ Power of Water® radio show of November 4, 2014, by telephone from Hangzhou, China. The topic was fresh water and the human immune system.
