Business Architecture Guild Announces the Certified Business Architect (CBA)® Program
Soquel, California (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- The Certified Business Architect (CBA)® program is the result of thousands of hours effort from the Guild’s certification team, Guild member volunteers, industry experts, exam beta takers, psychometric and testing experts, and Guild business partners. The program features:
A robust 150-question certification exam resulting from a rigorous development process, beta test cycle and formal psychometric analysis
Worldwide exam access through Pearson VUE at one of Pearson’s 5200 locations
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) program for maintaining one’s certification status
A self-test quiz to assess certification exam readiness
Pointers on how to establish the requisite skills needed to achieve certification
An in-progress Guild Accredited Training Partner™ (GATP™) program to guide training course selection for those planning to sit for the exam or to build CEU credits (slated for Q4 2015)
According to Janice Lewis of Pfizer, “These are exciting times for Business Architects! With the release of the Business Architecture Guild's Certified Business Architect (CBA)® exam and certification, practitioners can now benefit from a common vocabulary and set of frameworks to align and connect. The companies and enterprises we serve will benefit also - from the ability to identify highly qualified candidates to heightened levels of expectation of their business architects in connecting strategy to execution and facilitating new levels of agility.”
An individual who has passed the certification exam will be receive Certified Business Architect (CBA)® designation on their credentials and a formal certificate. These individuals will have the option of being listed on the Guild’s Certified Business Architect (CBA)® Professional Directory page, which currently includes the inaugural list of certified individuals. Certification is granted for a three-year period, with renewals offered for certification holders who earn CEU credits as defined in the Guild’s CEU program.
According to William Ulrich, Guild President and Cofounder, “We feel that this is a significant step in the evolution of the business architecture discipline. Five years ago, the practice was largely undefined, often left to the imagination of a given practitioner or service provider. With the rollout of the Certified Business Architect (CBA)® program, evolution of the BIZBOK® Guide and formalization of the pending GATP™ program, the industry now has a focused discipline that is formally accompanied by a professional certification program.”
Additional information on the Certified Business Architect (CBA)® program, including how to register and sit for the exam, may be found at the Guild’s Certification pages.
