25-Year Industry Veteran Larry Bellack Joins Multifamily Data Exchange
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- Multifamily Data Exchange (MDX), the performance benchmarking platform for multifamily owners, operators and stakeholders, today announced Larry Bellack will lead the company’s sales efforts as its vice president of national sales. Bellack joins MDX from Rainmaker LRO, where he was vice president of multifamily sales and responsible for building the user-base of the industry’s leading revenue management solution.
“Larry has achieved phenomenal success over the last four years, and has been instrumental in the rapid adoption and growth of Rainmaker LRO,” says Dom Beveridge, general manager of MDX. “Larry’s unique skills and reputation in the industry make him the ideal candidate to drive the growth of the MDX platform, which is rapidly gaining momentum. Every day, even more multifamily owners, operators and stakeholders are joining the exchange that will make actual, historical income performance benchmarking a reality in the multifamily industry.”
MDX is a technology-independent platform that gathers historical performance data directly from the Property Management Systems (PMSs) of multifamily communities. Participating properties receive monthly reports that benchmark their historical income performance against other MDX subscribers. It takes the full picture of a property’s historical rental income, and enables an apples-to-apples comparison to sub-market comps through a simple suite of reports. The information is factual, transparent and unbiased, since MDX operates independently of any property technology platform.
Bellack, who has more than 25 years of apartment industry experience, will be responsible for enrolling apartment companies to participate in the exchange. Prior to joining Rainmaker LRO in 2010, Bellack held executive sales positions with RealPage, Inc., Azuma Leasing and Sears. In addition, he is the former Chairman of the National Apartment Association’s National Suppliers Council (NSC) and is now the founding chair of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) Supplier Partner Alliance.
“I’m excited about this opportunity to play an integral role in building the platform that will solve a long-standing multifamily industry challenge,” Bellack says. “MDX is more than just a product or service – it’s a revolutionary new platform that enables apartment companies to benchmark actual historical income performance, regardless of property management software systems, and truly measure how every community stacks up against its competition. MDX is uniquely positioned to make a positive transformative impact on the industry and I’m looking forward to being a part of that transformation.”
