Automax Truck and Car Center Hosts "Think Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Sales
Proceeds from the month of October at Farmington dealership benefit the Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund
FARMINGTON, N.M., Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- October is recognized as breast cancer awareness month. This year, as with every year, the Automax Truck and Car Center will be contributing to breast cancer awareness by participating in their annual "Think Pink" automotive sales event. With this event, $100 from every car sale will be donated towards breast cancer awareness research. More specifically, that $100 will be used to benefit the Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund.
The Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund is a subsidiary of the San Juan Medical Foundation. The Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund uses its proceeds to provide medical assistance and support to women living in San Juan County who are undergoing some measure of cancer treatment, whether it be preemptive or ongoing. These services include diagnosis screenings, purchasing medication and providing transportation to those unfit to travel on their own.
Alongside the Automax Truck and Car Center, the Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund is raising money through additional San Juan County contributors. Aside from direct donations, the Cancer Lincoln Cancer Fund is holding a silent auction, selling t-shirts and sponsoring barrel racing among other enjoyable activities.
