This legislation will ensure federally-required brand controls under trademark law are not used against franchises in employment law matters. The International Franchise Association selected Mormino to speak on the main stage during the General Session of the Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting on September 11, 2019. Mormino took the stage to speak to the State Delegation following the much anticipated address from former NFL Player and Partner in Main Squeeze Juice Co., Marques Colston. Mormino addressed the needs of franchisors and franchisees to mitigate employer liability and to work together toward common political objectives.
