The Metro Nashville Airport Authority Invites Community Feedback On Equity in Public Contracting
MNAA Invites the Community to its Disparity Study Informational Meeting February 12th.
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Metro Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) has contracted with Griffin & Strong, P.C. (GSPC) to conduct a comprehensive Disparity Study to review MNAA contracting policies and procedures, measure business availability and the utilization of Small, Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprises (collectively SMWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), and Airport Concessions DBEs (ACDBE) in MNAA contracting.
GSPC and MNAA encourages the participation of community members, business owners, advocates and local organizations to come hear about the study, how to be involved and how their input can assist MNAA in promoting equity through contracting. This will help ensure that all sectors of the business community are represented in its future spending.
